About the position
As a Junior UI/UX Designer with complementary graphic skills, you will play an important role in making digital products more intuitive, engaging and user-centric for our clients. You will work closely with the Product Owner and the Requirements Engineer and will be supported in your professional and personal development by mentoring and continuous feedback. Together, you will develop well-thought-out user experiences, clear interfaces and visual concepts that are both functional and aesthetically convincing. Success in this position means understanding user needs, developing creative solutions, and taking responsibility for the quality of your design contributions. You actively contribute your ideas and contribute to creating digital products that offer tangible added value for our customers and their users.
Your areas of responsibility
- User Research and Analysis: Support in the analysis of user needs, requirements and usage contexts through research, interviews or evaluation of existing data to enable informed design decisions.
- Concept and Interaction Design: Participate in the development of user flows, wireframes and prototypes to design intuitive and user-centric digital solutions.
- Visual Design: Design of user interfaces and graphic elements for digital products, taking into account the existing brand identity.
- Design validation: Support in reviews and iterations of existing design solutions to continuously improve usability and quality.
- Design System: Participation in the development and maintenance of our own design system.
- Graphic Design: Supporting our marketing manager by creating and revising graphics and layouts such as Linkedin posts or print materials.
Your profile
- Studies in the field of UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, Media Informatics, Communication Design, Digital Design or a comparable course of study.
- Initial practical experience in the field of design (e.g. through internships, working student activities or your own projects) is an advantage.
- Motivation and interest to deal intensively withuser-centered design, digital products and modern design methods and to actively shape the quality of our digital solutions.
- Basic knowledge of using Figma as a design and prototyping tool, as well as a good understanding of usability and UX principles.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design programs (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, Affinity) as well as a keen sense of modern visual design, typography, layout and color effect.
- Strong communication skills in German and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a team and high quality standards for your own work as well as a structured and solution-oriented working style.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn and initiative in order to continuously develop your professional skills and actively contribute to the success of our projects.
